Comments from Mr. Vizzo and Mr. DiClemente With the 2008 β 2009 school year upon us, we ready ourselves for new opportunities, more intense challenges, and an experience like no other. A new grade, the passing and making of friendships, and a renewed commitment towards another successful endeavor will challenge students. As always in education and life, the demand for support among staff, parents, and the community will be critical in presenting to each young person a valuable academic and social environment. The elements of leadership, respect, and passion will be essential in fostering a junior high school experience that, although it only happens once, if done right -- could be unforgettable. School is back in session. Welcome to a new year! We approach the coming academic year with a dual sense of commitment and enthusiasm. At RC Murphy Junior High School, we are confident that you will recognize a commitment to quality education. It is with great pride that we confront the opportunity at RC Murphy to facilitate the academic achievement and social development of our students. While past years have introduced us to many fine people in the community, we are eager for this fall school season and meeting many new students and families. We truly believe that school is life in that the way we prepare and perform in the educational setting is similar to the way we go about all aspects of our everyday life. Through an emphasis on βthe little things,β a pride in our ability to dream, and a passion for success, we are sure every person associated with our school will benefit a great deal from the 2008 β 2009 year. Welcome and best wishes for a fine year, Vincent Vizzo Patrick J. DiClemente Principal Assistant Principal
